What to Eat in April (And How to Support Your Body This Spring)
Mar 30, 2026
As we move into April, you can start to feel the shift.
Longer days.
More light.
A natural pull toward fresher, lighter foods.
This is one of the best times of year to gently reset your eating — not by doing something extreme, but by working with what’s already in season.
What’s in season in April
Spring produce is all about foods that feel lighter, more hydrating and supportive for digestion.
Some of the standouts this month:
Leafy greens
Spinach, arugula, kale, spring mix
These are some of the easiest ways to increase fiber and support digestion.
Cruciferous vegetables
Broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower
Great for adding structure to meals while still keeping things light.
Root vegetables (still in season)
Carrots, beets
These bridge the gap between winter and spring — grounding, but still supportive.
Early fruits
Strawberries are starting to come into season
Fresh, hydrating and easy to add into your day.
Why this matters
Eating seasonally naturally supports your body.
In the spring, most people don’t feel like heavy, dense meals.
They want foods that feel:
- lighter
- fresher
- easier to digest
And that’s exactly what’s available right now.
A simple way to approach your meals
Instead of overthinking it, build your meals around what’s in season:
- a large salad with leafy greens and roasted vegetables
- smoothies with fresh or frozen fruit
- simple bowls with a mix of raw and cooked foods
- warm meals in the evening to stay grounded
Nothing complicated.
Just a way of eating that aligns with the season.
This is why spring is a natural time to reset
You don’t need to force a reset this time of year.
Your body is already asking for one.
The key is giving it structure.
If you’ve been feeling off
Low energy.
Sluggish digestion.
Out of rhythm with your eating.
This is a good time to come back to something simple.
A place to start
This is exactly why I created the Spring Glow-Up Reset.
It’s a 14-day reset designed to support digestion, energy, and daily rhythm — using simple, plant-forward meals and structure you can actually follow.
Nothing extreme.
Just a way to work with your body this season.

Spring doesn’t require a full restart.
Just a small shift in how you’re supporting yourself.
